I’ve been building websites on Squarespace for over 8 years. The simplicity and ease-of-use of the platform is just unmatched, and provides so many businesses a perfect starter website to grow with.
But, I realized that many brands have no clue where to start when building on their own (which is why they usually come to me to craft one for them). They see amazing sites online, have the desire to make something like it—but since they’re not web designers, it becomes a challenge to make something meaningful and beautiful.
That’s why I decided to build my own templates: Pre-designed layouts that are launch-ready and easily customizable. They empower entrepreneurs, freelancers, businesses, and even other designers to build a killer website, faster and with less friction. Templates also drastically reduce the amount of time I spend on a client engagement, further optimizing my process.
In late 2022, I decided to split the Studio Mesa brand: Instead of offering both services and templates under one name, SM would be entirely focused on templates and Squarespace resources—while I showcase my design services as a freelancer.
